Taipei- Day 8
The last day in Taipei.
Happy moments always pass by so fast.
After breakfast, we went to Xi Men MRT station to return the easy card.
On the way return to hotel, we grab some more snacks souvenirs from Xin Dong Yang.
Check out hotel and took a cab to Taipei Bus station due to heavy luggage. At first we plan to take a bus to airport (cheaper, as the taxi fare from Xi Men to airport is around NT$1000). But when we arrive at bus station, there is a taxi driver offer cheaper taxi fare per pax. So we took it and off we go to Tao Yuan Airport with another lady.
We took TKK fried chicken for lunch. Is taiwanese style fried chicken.
The waiting room in airport before depart is nicely decorate and cute.
Bye bye taiwan and will be back next time.

Taipei- Day 5
Hello Mr sun!!
Today we plan to a place full of 'hai yu' flowers.
We are there for around 2 hours and took a lot of photos.haha..because we need to pay a small amount of money to get into the flower farm. We did not buy the flowers because we cant take it back to KL..
When we got down at the bus station, we heard a aunty say that there is a cake shop selling nice cheese cake. Without hesitate, we went to the Elegant House Cake Shop to buy few piece of cakes. really delicious. How i hope i can bring back all types of cakes.
We went to Tamsui, a cultural district with 400 years of history, located at the Tamsui River. It has been an important commercial port in the north.
We took a bus to Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf from the MRT station.
After that, we stroll to the Old Street before going to another night market.
At night, we went to Shi Lin night market, and here we go again for all the food.

Taipei- Day 4
Breakfast prepare by the lady boss is simple and delicious. We went to the old street again for the last round to eat those food that we miss out the day before. Is a raining morning.
We check out at around 11am to avoid other check out crowd. We took a bus straight to Taipei station.
We took back our luggage at Mango 53 Inn and head to ECFA Hotel at Xi Men.
Nice and comfortable hotel, only the pillow too soft.
We walked around Xi Men.
Then went to Shi Da Night Market. Just go straight after exit 3 from the taipower building MRT station. No signage along the road and we got a little lost at the beginning.
Start our food hunting..
Buy a small purse and also a pair of shoes :)
I even da bao back to hotel although my stomach already very full.

Taipei- Day 3
A raining morning. Breakfast at Chow Zhai porridge, situated opposite Bo Pi Liao. It looks simple but it taste superb.
We packed our things and check out MANGO 53 INN. We plan to go Jiu Fen. Luckily the staff are very friendly and they allow us to put our luggage overnight. We only bring light weight bagpack and will took it back after our 2D 1N at Jiu Fen. If not, we will have to bring the luggage up to few hundred steps in Jiu Fen :)
We went to Taipei station to bought train ticket to Rui fang station before arriving Jiu Fen. 1030am depart. There are many people heading to the same direction. From Rui fang, we took bus to Jiu Fen. Cool weather.
We start our eating journey again.
We check in to Long Men Ke Zhan. Nice room and great breakfast prepare by the lady boss.
Then we went to Jing Gua Shi by bus (around 20 min). Last time is an area with gold mining.
Back to Jiu Fen and rest for a while before going for dinner.
Beware that all the stalls in Jiu Fen close quite early at around 8pm. We went down for dinner at around 8pm and find out a lot of stores already cleaning up and not much food left. Luckily we still manage to have the few last bowl of the fish ball, dong fen and tau fu pok.
Again..stomach full of food. And i still want to bring back a bowl of Yu Yuan for supper..really delicious..

Taipei- Day 2
Breakfast at an old traditional shop selling wan tan/ prawn ball mee. yummy.
We went to Long Shan Shi (temple) and Bo Pi Liao. There is a Bo Pi Liao story house that tells the history.
Then we took MRT to Taipei zoo station (visit Mao Kong). We stopped at Taipei station and walk around the breeze area (selling all sorts of food)..happy..we tried out matcha ice cream dorayaki and fried brown sugar man tou before heading to mao kong.
Arriving at Taipei Zoo station, we need to walk 10 minutes to arrive at the mao kong hall.
The ticket to mao kong station cost us NT50/pax. We took the crystal cabin to the top. The journey is around 30minutes. A little boring without any music or introduction through out the way to the top. but nice scenary :)
We went into Hi-Life convenient shop to eat some food. Not bad.
We continue our journey. It was windy up there.
We eat ubi bakar..hot and yummy..
We rushed to 101 Taipei (stop at MRT Taipei City Hall station) to enjoy the night view. For normal visitor, we need to purchase our ticket at level 5. Group/ travel agency bought their tickets at level 1. Ticket price is NT$450/pax.
The super fast lift took less than 1 minute to reach level 89. Nice view.
Then we went up to level 91. Super cool wind.
We managed to go to Rao He night market to have our dinner. The distance from MRT HouShanPi is around 1km. Will pass by Wu Fen Pu (place where sell T-shirts and bags). But worth walking to enjoy the super nice food.
Went back with full stomach again.

Taipei- day 1
This is the day! We booked the tickets one year ago, cost around RM750/pax.
After check in all the luggage, we went to starbucks to have our breakfast.
Our flight depart at 10:00am and we booked the AA set meal. Pictures shown in website/ menu are only for illustration only..lol..
Flight arrive Taipei Tao Yuan International Airport at 2:40pm. Cool weather. After taking our luggage, we went to buy the bus ticket (Guo Guang bus NT$125/pax) to Taipei bus station. (Directions: turn right after get out from the arrival door, walk straight and turn right again, walk straight till the end and turn left, can see few counter selling bus ticket to different destination.)
Unfortunately, it was raining at that moment. It took around 1 1/2 hour to arrive at Taipei bus station. We rushed into the hall and find the way to get our Easy Card. We took MRT to Long Shan Shi station, exit 3, turn left and we found our MANGO 53 INN. It was quite hard to notice the place as there is no bug signage outside.
A friendly staff bring us around and introduce the place. quite a cozy place. i booked through hostelworld.
6pm, already getting late, we decided to go around Long Shan Shi. 1st night market- Hua Xi night market. This night market has more traditional food. Both of us ate non stop.
We both went to Ximen night market to discover more food as the night is still young and the rain stop.
We went back with a full stomach.

applying for ROM
This is the beginning of 'tie the knot'.
Today go to Thean Hou Temple to take the form for Register of Marriage.
Reach there at around 11am.
There are many couples waiting for their turn to register.
Me & lok go to the counter and ask for the application form. A friendly lady explained the procedure for ROM. First, we need to go to commissioner of oath to certified the form, then go to JPN confirm we are 'single', then submit back to Thean Hou temple.
There are only few commissioner of oath open on saturday. Luckily we found one at SS2 (same row with CIMB bank). After getting stamping, pay RM8 we rush down to JPN Pudu (UTC KL). We reach there at around 1pm, took a number and wait for our turn. 1 hour later, we pay for RM20 and settle everything at JPN.
We rush back to Thean Hou temple and submit the form. We confirm our date on Chap Goh Meh 24.2.2013(Chinese Valentine day), 11am, number 116. After paying of RM140, we took our receipt and just wait for the day to come :)
